Style Introductory Class

Are you new to Style Pilates Studio, new to reformer or in need of a refresher?

The Style Introductory Class is a combo Class (Mat & Reformer) suitable for all ages and recommended for all new Style Pilates Studio clients. It is a great refresher class for people that have been taking Pilates for years or an opportunity to gain further understanding about the foundations of Pilates.

This class will give you the confidence you need to start Pilates, and if you're more experienced, it will give you the skills you need to transition from one Pilates class to another.

The Style Introductory Class introduces clients to the 'STOTT PILATES five Basic Principles':

Breathing;

Pelvic Placement;

Rib Cage Placement;

Scapular Movement and Stabilisation; and

Head and Cervical Placement.

These principles are followed by simple exercises to help illustrate them and guide clients to be mindful of their bodies and its movements allowing for a more focused workout and achievement of goals.

Style Barre Class

Start your day at the Barre and move your way to the centre with this stylised workout that will transform your body and overall fitness.

Work on your cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility and coordination all in one class. Inspired by various genres of Pilates, Ballet and Yoga, this entire body workout also sculpts, tones and stretches your muscles into beautifully long lean lines.

Dynamic style dance movements choreographed and performed to up-lifting tunes will have you smiling one minute and feeling the burn the next....

You don't need to be a dancer to enjoy this fun yet challenging workout. All fitness levels are welcome and like anything 'new' it can be tough at the start. However, every step is broken down allowing you to learn the moves in each combination moving you from beginner to advanced and mastering the art of the class. You will love it!!!!

Style Essential Reformer Class

Style Essential Reformer classes are designed to execute Essential-level Reformer exercises. These exercises are executed using specially designed PILATES reformer equipment. Modifications are included to accommodate certain weaknesses or to make an exercise more challenging.

Essential reformer classes focus on targeting muscles to be strengthened with the emphasis on either stabilising or mobilising muscles.

Strength, Coordination, Endurance & Balance are just a few benefits gained from these core classes.

Style Intermediate / Advanced Reformer Class

Style Intermediate/Advanced Reformer classes are designed to execute Int/Adv-level Reformer exercises. These exercises are executed using specially designed PILATES Reformer equipment.

Once you have mastered the core essential Pilates classes how about taking that next step to join us for an Intermediate / Advanced class. This class combines all the skills and knowledge you have learnt in the essential class. Exercises can be done lying down, sitting, standing, pulling the straps, pushing the foot-bar, stabilising on the foot bar, stabilising on the shoulder blocks, with additional equipment, upside down, sideways, and all kinds of variations.

Modifications are included to accommodate certain weaknesses or to make an exercise more challenging.

Style Mat Class

A great place to start your pilates journey....All you need is a mat and yourself to do Mat Pilates.

Mat Pilates is a fantastic total body workout it can be simple &/or challenging, yet very effective.

On the Mat provides resistance against gravity, Mat Pilates focuses on developing and strengthening your legs, stomach, lower and upper back muscles. Various props can be utilised to support the exercises and provide further challenge, resistance and complexity.

Mat classes have a lovely flow through the movements and exercises and allows you to incorporate and consciously focus on the pilates principles throughout the exercises creating mind body awareness.

Style 'PBT' Swiss Ball Class

Train like a Ballet Dancer!!

I am so excited to bring this innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program to Style Pilates Studio. The Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) class was Founded by Marie Walton-Mahon - Professional Ballet Dancer.

"PBT has been designed to enhance technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance or chosen field of sport."

Performed to classical music, PBT focuses on core strength. The use of an exercise ball allows clients to gain a great sense of posture, weight placement and alignment of the body with a gradual approach of carefully designed exercises and repetitions of these exercises to trigger their muscle memory."


PBT classes can be challenging classes however will leave you feeling incredible.

Style Stretch Class

Ready for an amazing Stretch??? You will feel it and you will feel amazing after it!

This is one of my favourite classes of the week and it's suitable for all ages.

It is a 'Signature Style' class and combination of my experience (Dance, Pilates & Yoga) in an intense 45 min session with music.

An opportunity to work within your capabilities with expert guidance and a chance to reconnect with your body to lengthen and elongate your muscles, clear your mind and feel incredible by the end. Be prepared to awaken muscles you never knew existed, release some tension and walk out having a lighter feeling throughout your entire body. I can not wait to share this feeling with you!
