How do I book a class or purchase a class pass?

Simply click on the “Schedule + Book” section of our website to view our schedule and book a class. If you'd like to purchase a classes pack, you can visit the "PRICING" section of our website and the class pack will be added to your MINDBODY Online account.

You can also download the MINDBODY App for iPhone or Android. You can use the app to book, waitlist, cancel or reschedule your classes. You can also view your schedule and purchase a class pass.

What should I wear and bring to class?

Wear comfortable workout clothes. You’ll be lying down some of the time with your hands or legs in the air so make sure your clothes move with you. You don’t wear shoes, only 'grip socks' are worn in classes – regular socks will make you slide too much and can be unsafe. If ‘grip socks’ are forgotten not to worry you can purchase these at the studio for $20.00!

We also ask that you bring a small towel and a drink bottle to stay hydrated.

What should I do if I am new?

If you have no prior group reformer pilates class experience be sure to book into a Introductory Reformer Class. We also have a special 2 for 1 offer available for new clients - click here to learn more. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your first class to meet your instructor, so you can be given a rundown on the equipment and you can let her know of any injuries you have, or have had previously - these may require a client history form to be completed. Please also note, a waiver form is to be signed for Insurance purposes before any class is to be undertaken. You will find this waiver form on the MINDBODY Site or you can request one emailed to you via info@stylepilates.com.au

Are there any age restrictions?

Every one and every body is welcome to Style Pilates Studio regardless of age.

Children under the age of 18 will need a parent to sign the studio consent and waiver. Nicole has a blue card to work with children.

Can I bring my children to class?

Please note there are dedicated classes on the schedule specifically for ‘Mums & Bubs’. These classes allow for little ones to be a part of the class. This is an opportunity for mums and bubs to really bond during this special time, as well as provide mum with a much needed mental/physical break whilst working on repairing and strengthening her own body.

Please note however that you are solely responsible for your baby/child whilst attending the studio. Mums can utilize a baby carrier whilst exercising or the baby can play in the crèche provided or on a bouncer. Carriers suggested for exercising in are (Baby Bjorn, or Ergo Baby 360) whatever is the most comfortable and right alignment for posture to ensure safe and effective execution of exercises.

Under construction is a little play area suitable for toddlers or children from the age of 2-4 years of age. Once the area is completed you will be notified and you will also be able to have your little one attend as well making the opportunity to exercise more appealing for Mumma!! Often my two little ones will be at the studio.

If you would like to bring your little one please reach out to me via nicole@stylepilates.com.au, as each situation/circumstance is slightly different and all will be considered. Just a quick reminder that each child is the parent’s sole responsibility whilst attending the studio. Nicole also holds a current Queensland Blue Card.

Why do you use Reformer Pilates beds?

Pilates reformer machines are the ultimate choice for lean muscle toning due to the adjustable finely tuned spring loaded resistance and the wide variety of exercises available. Springs help to lengthen and strengthen muscles, rather than building bulk. The springs are useful to provide both assistance in some exercises and added resistance challenge in others, making it an invaluable tool. We proudly use STOTT PILATES® reformers: SPX Max Reformers and a V2 Max Plus Reformer.

How do I cancel a booking?

Cancellations can be made from your account on the MINDBODY App, via email – info@stylepilates.com.au or over the phone (0456 416 389). For Group Reformer Pilates classes, you can freely cancel up to 12 hours prior to the class start time. If you cancel less than 12 hours before the start of class, this will count as a late-cancel.

If you late cancel or no-show and are on a class pass or casual pass you will lose a credit. For all 1:1 sessions 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. If you late cancel or no-show you will be charged for the class or a class credit will be deducted.

I'm Pregnant!

Even if you have just found out you are pregnant, your instructor needs to know. We can note this on your profile and also how many weeks you are. Your information is completely confidential.

Pregnant clients need to avoid activities where they might get too hot, lying on their back, inversions, heavy lifting and various other exercises. We recommend just participating in Essential Reformer and working at a pace that is safe, comfortable and modified for where you need be.

What is a Studio Equipment Class?

Studio Equipment Classes refer to the Private, Duet, Small Group Equipment Classes where each person is given an individual Pilates experience. These classes are perfect for those requiring rehabilitation but the classes can also be strong, sport focused and dynamic. You will be taught more about the Pilates Method using a variety of Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Vertical Frame, Stott Stability Chair and Barre.

Is there Studio Etiquette?

We have a wonderful warm and inviting Studio. We ask you to arrive at least 5 minutes before class. All group classes start promptly so for the safety and enjoyment of all participants you cannot enter class after the class starts.

Once you come into our beautiful studio, take a moment to make yourself comfortable:

Phones can be distracting so please switch your phone to silent or off before class starts;
Store any personal items on the shelf provided at the back of the studio;
If you do need to leave a class early, please notify your instructor prior to class; and
Please wipe down your reformer bed at the end of each class.

Is there a COVID Policy?

We have detailed policy regarding COVID which covers off cleaning, safety protocols and guidelines. We welcome you to familiarise yourself with our COVID policy, please click here to view. We also are a registered business with the Queensland Government for the Check In Qld app which we will ask you to use on arrival.  Prior to checking in, if you would like to see a copy of the Check In Qld Privacy Policy, please email info@stylepilates.com.au and we will email it through.
